It is designed for injection molding applications.<\/strong><br\/><br\/>Bio-granulate is based on potato starch or corn starch modified only by physical means (no chemical modification). The products obtained from it (cutlery, packaging, films) are 100% compostable and biodegradable, as confirmed by studies.<br\/><br\/>Bio-granulate undergoes 100% actual bio-decomposition after 12 weeks (84 days), and as the proportion of starch in its composition increases, this time is reduced. In addition, products made exclusively from starch biogranulate are fully biodegradable in fresh and salt water and soil, and with mechanical strength they do not differ from standard plastics such as, for example.
